BHAWANIPATNA: Unaided private colleges, both Plus II and Plus III, will be closed on November 19 in the KBK districts in protest against government ‘negligence’.
In a release, members of the KBK Unaided College Teachers and Employees Forum alleged that despite rendering service for 15 years, 136 unaided colleges of KBK districts are deprived of aid.
“Visa-vis to coastal districts, the KBK region is far behind in higher education. Hence it requires a special education policy and government attention,” he said.
