BHAWANIPATNA, April 2: The Koshal Kranti Dal candidates who filed nomination for Parliament seat as well as Narla Assembly seat in Kalahandi have withdrawn candidature to the surprise of many.
Today party candidate Mr Gobind Chandra Rath withdrew his candidature. With this, now eight candidates remain in the fray in the Kalahandi Parliament Constituency.
Similarly in Narla Assembly seat Koshal Kranti Dal candidate Mr Nabin Kumar Pradhan and one Independent candidate Mr Bhisma Chandra Sahu have withdrawn their candidature. Narla Assembly seat now has twelve candidates, Bhawanipatna and Lanjigarh have eight candidates, Junagath and Dharamgarh has eleven candidates remaining. n sns
