Indeed Pushpendra Babu has taken a very good initiaitve as minister of state for labour and employment for his people. We appreciate his work towards the development of Kalahandi and hope he continues in the same spirit. Thanks a lot to you Pushpendra Babu specially.
25 acres provided for ESIC hospital

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has provided 25 out of the required 40 acres of land for establishment of a medical college and hospital by the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) at Bhubaneswar. The issue was discussed at the 66th board meeting of the ESIC here today.
The meeting was presided over by minister of state for labour and employment Pushpendra Singhdeo. The Minister directed the ESIC authorities to expedite the work on the hospital construction.
The second medical college and hospital of the ESIC will be established at Rourkela. Steps will also be initiated for establishment of a nursing college by the ESIC in Kalahandi district, he said.
It was decided that a private hospital will be identified as a tie-up hospital in places where there is not ESIC hospital.
This step will be taken so that the persons under insurance cover can avail benefits. All information for the ESIC beneficiaries will be made available in departmental website. This will be changed from time to time.
The Minister directed that medicines and other materials should be purchased and supplied to the ESIC hospitals as early as possible. A committee comprising board members has been constituted for this.
