Note: Dharmagarh has been proposed for NAC since past 15 years, however, state Govt. has not yet approved it.
15 new Notified Area Councils proposed

Bhubaneswar: Urban Development Minister Badri Narayan Patra told the State Assembly on Friday that the Government has a proposal to constitute 15 new Notified Area Councils (NACs) in the State. Replying to a question by BJD member Bijay Nayak, he said the areas like Bhogarai, Hindol, Sakhigopal, Brahmagiri, Chandikhol, Dharmasala, Salepur, Dharmagarh, Attabira, Betonati, Tusara, Simulia, Muniguda, Chandbali and Nuapada have been identified for the new NACs.
