The Naveen Patnaik Government is resorting to treachery with the residents of western Odisha in the field of employment and training. Due to the new policy of the Government in the field of employment and training in Primary Schools the educated youth of the region will be deprived of both, said former BJP MLA Basant Panda.

In a release, Panda said after the State Government abolished the district cadre and implemented the State cadre in employment and training only 15 to 20 youths of western Odisha have been selected for CT training. If it had been district cadre nearly 500 to 600 students would have got opportunity for training. Though the Government has issued an advertisements on January 5 for filling up of vacancies of 256 graduate science teachers in primary schools only 12 to 19 trained candidates are there in the district.

From this it is clear that candidates from outside Nuapada district will get the jobs. This has triggered resentment among the residents of the district and the Government is deliberately promoting regional imbalance, said Panda.
