Bhawanipatna: The Sindhi community of Bhawanipatna celebrated Jhulelal Jayanti with fervour on Wednesday. A grand procession was taken out from the Sindhi Panchayat Bhawan in the evening along with prasad distribution at the main market where the youth enjoyed the Dandia dance. The day is celebrated as New Year by the community. Sindhi Panchayat president Shaman Lal Makhija, secretary Raj Kumar Panjwani, vice-president Bhakat Lal Fatwani and youth wing president Naresh Makhija and secretary Sanjay Kumar Makhija jointly organised the programme.
