Bhawanipatna: The irate inhabitants of Dengsaru village under Barabandha GP in M Rampur block are on a dharna before the Collectorate here since Wednesday morning protesting against the newly-opened country liquor industry there. The Panchayat is dominated by the Adivasis and Harijans and the industry has been opened on the main road of the village. While a memorandum has already been submitted with the Kalahandi Collector, the agitating villagers were seen continuing their dharna till the filing of the report.
