Thanks to central Govt., especially ministry of highway, for sanctioning Abhanpur (Chhatisgarh) to Baldhiamal (Kalahandi) as NH 130C

Note: We had been demanding ( http://kalahandia.blogspot.com/2010/06/widening-sh5-chhattisgarh-and-sh52.html ) to make NH for the route Abhanpur in Chhatisgarh  to Baldhiamal in Kalahandi (Odisha) as it will help in reducing distance between Raipur and Gopalpur as well as Nagpur and Gopalpur. This will also a play an alternative route for Nagpur to Gopalpur via Rajanandgaon, Dhamtari, Themil, Debhog, Dharamgarh, thus, Gopalpur port can be even more competitive in comparison to Mumbai port, especially for accessing Southeast Asia from Nagpur region.

Thankfully recently central Govt. has approved this as NH130C. Thanks to all those who made it possible including central Govt., state Govt. of both Odisha and Chhatisgarh.

We also continue to demand that further steps should be taken to extend this route to Junagarh-Karlapat Kiapadar-Kalyansingpur-Jakaypur. 

Similarly, Khariar-Bhawanipatna-Muniguda-Paralakhemundi-Palasa should be considered by central Govt. for NH, as per earlier Odisha state Govt.'s recommendation.
