Large number of Cong aspirants for Kalahandi LS seat

In Kalahandi Lok Sabha seat, after delimitation, the Kesinga and Kokasara Assembly seats have been abolished and a new constituency Lanjigarh has been included. There are total five Assembly constituencies of Bhawanipatna (SC), Lanjigarh (ST), Dharamgarh, Narla and Junagarh. However, there are large number of Congress aspirants for the seats.

For the Kalahandi Lok Sabha seat, from the Congress the aspirants are Bhakta Charan Das, Bhupiunder Singh, Ras Bihari Behera, Subash Nayak, Daitary Pradhan, Sunil Nayak, Prem Kumar Azad, Bhanuprakash Joshi, Gobardhan Das, Sibaram Nayak, Jagamohan Patnaik and Pratap Sunani.

Similarly, from the Bhawanipatna Assembly constituency Anama Naik, Dusmanta Naik, Devi Sindoor, Simanmchal Naik and Saral Naik — a total of 19 aspirants — have filed their applications from the Congress. In Narla Assembly seat, there are 22 Congress aspirants, including Jagannath Patnaik, Kunamani Sabar, Ashok Kumar Chand, Rohit Bhoi, Purandar Majhi, Himanshu Dash and Mahendra Sahu.

In Lanjigarh Assembly constituency, Padmakishore Pujari, Sibaji Majhi, Kasaba Majhi are among the Congress aspirants for ticket. In Junagarh, Ananta Pratap Deo, Gopabandhu Das, Abhimanyu Panda, Sibashankar Patnaik — a total of 25 aspirants from the Congress.

Similarly, from Dharamgarh, Rabi Pattjoshi, Tusara Pattjoshi, Himashu Shekhar Panda, Tarun Majhi are among the Congress aspirants.
