Govt increases labourers’ wages

The State Government on Monday raised the wages for skilled, unskilled and daily labourers. Labour and Employment Minister Pushpendra Singh Deo announced this in the Assembly. A daily labour will now get Rs 90, semi-skilled Rs 103, skilled Rs 116 and highly skilled will get Rs 129. The Government also announced to give Rs 2.50 as special allowances to all labourers besides their daily wages.
