Government to appoint 3,210 teachers

BHUBANESWAR: The Government has decided to appoint contractual teachers to fill up as many as 3,210 posts across 19 Education Circles in the State.


The B Ed qualified teachers would get Rs 9,300 a month while for non-TGT teachers it is Rs 5,200. The process for appointment of the teachers would be initiated soon, Education Minister Pratap Jena has said.

Balasore circle has vacancies for 115 non-TGT, Bhadrak 131 TGT and 95 non-TGT, Bolangir 95 TGT and 99-non TGT, Cuttack 142 TGT and 179 non-TGT, Dhenkanal 30 TGT and 71 non-TGT, Ganjam 138 TGT and 216 non-TGT, Jeypore 74 TGT and 64 non-TGT, Jajpur 76 TGT and 58 non-TGT, Jagatsinghpur 49 TGT and 64 non-TGT, Kalahandi 28 TGT and 39 non-TGT, Kendrapara 119 TGT and 102 non-TGT, Keonjhar 65 TGT and 53 non-TGT, Khurda 50 TGT and 139 non-TGT, Koraput 61 TGT and 51 non-TGT, Mayurbhanj 123 TGT and 88 non-TGT, Phulbani 22 TGT and 35 non-TGT, Puri 40 TGT and 89 non-TGT, Sambalpur 74 TGT and 91 non-TGT and Sundargarh 52 TGT and 139 non-TGT posts.
