25% of lecturers who have completed 6 ys to be transferred

Note:  Its nice that state Govt. has not gone for mass transfer for all the colleges at a time. We sincerely hope state Govt. is considering all aspects of mass transfer of teacher that we had raised earlier, specially for KBK region.

The State Government has apparently decided to transfer 25 per cent of the lecturers who have already completed six years of service in their respective colleges. Listing of such lecturers is complete and Higher Education Department would send the proposal to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on June 16 for his approval, sources said.

It said the list will come out on the department’s website on the same day.

Sources in the department said the Government is all set to transfer all the lecturers of colleges of twin city Cuttack and Bhubaneswar who have been posted since March 2003. Every lecturer transferred would go to a college in another district. “The Government would not transfer all the lecturers completing six years in their respective collages. It is because the Government feels the transferred lecturers would go on leave en masse affecting teachings,” said an officer.
