The district police has arrested four more persons from Jharkhand and brought all the accused here in connection with the abduction of the son of a contractor, which had created a stir in the district.
The police in a Press conference here said that the accused Madhusudan Sahoo, Bijay Singh, Bijay Paswan and Hari Singh were arrested in raids from Jharkhand. After their interrogation, they will be forwarded to court. Earlier, the police had arrested an accused Niladhar Naik during a raid on a village of Gumla district from Jharkhand.
The police have also seized three vehicles, one motorcycle, Rs 3,19,550 in cash and two pistols. However, the main accused, Guddu Oram, is still at large.
