Shared by Sri Dillip Kumar Das

Balkrishna Jal of Kokomunda village in Kesinga block of Kalahandi district got severely injured when he was trying to board the train at Dhenkanal Rly Station on 2nd July 2002 who subsequently got disabled. Balkrishna is a landless poor and belongs to Dalit community. Since 2002 he is unable to work and earn. As a result of his inability to work his parents also died without getting proper care and his wife deserted Balkrishna.

Now he depends upon the food given by one Hotel owner (DHABA owner) of his village, but he is confident that given the support for treatment of his legs he can earn and lead the life on his own.

Below is his letter appealing the support and also copy of his disability certificate given by the CDMO Kalahandi for your kind perusal. We also sincerely request you to support this brave man for his treatment.
