Dharamgarh: After a long wait, the students who are passing 10th class had reasons to be happy when the foundation stone of a +2 residential-cum-day scholar college was laid here. The institution is named the Modern +2 College where science and commerce courses will be provided. Previously, the students were facing problem in studying +2 science and commerce due to non-availability of a good college and coaching. The students of the town as well as the nearby areas had to leave the town for higher education, which proved very costly. This year, around 1,000 students have appeared for the 10th class Board examinations in the town and nearby areas. The Modern +2 College will provide summer coaching for +2 science and commerce students. It has been made possible due to the initiative of the Hariom Educational and Charitable Trust.
