Bhawanipatna: One Ishwar Karuan (28), only son of Gure Karuan of Kusumkhunti village of Thuapadar GP under Sadar block, was on Saturday found dead, floating in a pond near the village. The villagers resented the late arrival of the police at the spot despite being informed in early morning. Ishwar’s body bore injury marks in ears, eyes and throat. The police found a sharp weapon on the spot. All this led to suspicion that Ishwar was murdered. The body was sent to autopsy. Police investigation was on.
